Miriam the big sister

Much to our surprise and delight on Sunday, Miriam took it upon herself to make Elmo her 'baby'. This involved much hilarity with Miri putting (or trying to put) nappies on Elmo, feeding Elmo and bottle and carrying him around like a baby in her arms. The concentration and perseverance on her face as she tried to negotiate a toddler sized nappy onto a Sesame Street plush toy was amazing.

It's nice that she's practising her 'big sister' skills. At this rate I'll have her perfectly trained in all aspects of looking after a baby by the time #2 arrives!
